MAN UNITED EDGE CLOSER TO LINDERLOF'S SIGNING

Benfica defender has been linked with a move to Old Trafford since last summer, but the speculation has picked up pace this week when Benfica president Luis Filipe Vieira reportedly went to England to hold talks.

There have been claims that a deal between both clubs has been agreed and the Swedish international will join Manchester United in January for an initial transfer fee of €45m.
Speculation in Portugal also said that Lindelof is on his way towards Manchester United in January and a deal is almost done where Benfica could eventually pocket up to €60m.
